How to Make Easy Meal Plans with this Free Weekly Template
Most state and food programs (if you have one) require you to post a menu. You also need to create a menu every week if you want meal times to run smoothly. Here’s a free template to make meal planning easy!
Why Plan Your Menu Ahead of Time
When you’re feeding 4+ kids on a regular basis, you need to make sure you have enough food at the ready. That means making a menu.
This editable PDF is awesome for planning out meals for the week. This way, you don’t have to write and scribble in a planner when you change your mind about something.
Plus, if you’re like me, I’d rather use the computer for pretty much anything I can. My handwriting is crappy and I type so much faster than I write.
Read my posts How to Make Practical Meal Plans for Your Daycare and Why You Need to Teach Healthy Eating Habits in Preschool for more info on what and how to meal plan.
The Perfect Template for Daycare
I don’t serve dinner for my daycare kids, but I do like that I can plan my family’s dinners on the same sheet. This way, I only have one meal plan hanging on my fridge.
Plus, when I plan my family’s meals ahead I know I have the ingredients I need and can thaw my meat ahead of time.
I also added a few different templates for those who might have snacks at a different time than we do. And I included templates for anyone who wants the option of writing a meal plan for Saturday and Sunday.
I know how hard it can be to get a daycare started up, so this one’s on me! Just click the button below to download your Meal Plan Menu Template for FREE!
